Glass lamp shades
Glass lamp shades are stylish and appealing when it comes to putting that shade you prefer on your lamp, to finish your decor. However, they tend to be a little more expensive. They are also much more fragile, of course - if you drop your glass lamp shade, it is going to break.
That being said, glass lamp shades (if handled carefully) can be beautiful pieces of home decor in any setting.

This is the least expensive lamp we could find that features a glass shade. Torchiere design with frosted glass shades, available in black or silver finish. Uses one 150 watt bulb, UL listed, and measures 72 inches high.

Here is a beautiful tiffany style lamp with a stained glass lamp shade on an antique finished stand. Uses three 60 watt bulbs and measures 11.5 inches high by 20.3 inches wide. Also features a one year manufacturer's warranty.
