Our review system and FAQ

At Lamp Info, we use a review system we believe is unique to the industry. Based upon the following factors, we assign a rank to every product.

Durability

Durability is a factor to consider when selecting a lamp as you want your product, like any product, to last a signigicant amount of time. No one likes to get that new floor lamp or lamp shade home and when the dog plows into it, it's gone.

Appearance

Another factor to consider is the look of the product. A lamp that is ugly is not going to sell well, so for the most part we only review lamps on this site that can pass some standard of appeal. However, most lamps these days look great, and this usually isn't a problem.

Cost

Pricey lamps can sometimes be more luxurious and richer in design, but on this site we tend to review lamps of a set price range. Lamps that simply cost too much won't be seen here too often - they just don't sell.

Why are some products available to purchase
while others are not?

This is a good question. The reason why we do not link to all products is we only link to those that sell. It may seem shallow, and we're sorry if it looks that way - but to mantain a level of professionalism, and our business sense, we can't review every product on the market. We do apologize for this.

Got a product you want reviewed? Please do e-mail it to us and we will get back to you ASAP.

I want to purchase a product not listed on the site. What do I do?

In this case please let us know and we will e-mail you with further instructions upon where you can buy that product.

I want to advertise on this site or one of your affiliated sites. Where can I get more information?

Please check out our advertising page on Ceiling Fans 'N More, where you can find more information about advertising. You can also drop us a line.
